Bridgestone J36 Forged Cavity Iron Set for $349
The price dropped to $349 on what was the best deal on Bridgestone J36 Iron set.
This the best price I’ve seen on Bridgestone J36 forged iron set (4-PW) at GolfEtail. The set is equipped with the Rifle shaft.
I couldn’t find any reviews on this set. . .here is my impression of this set. I’ve tried Mizuno MP-52 and MP-62. The Mizuno sets perform great but the weighting of the club is such that I could never feel where the club head is – this is the area Titleist, Callaway and Cobra typically do a better job. In that regard, this Bridgestone J36 does a better job than Mizunos.
It’s not as forgiving, as it’s a very workable club, as Mizunos. Off center hits will result in some loss in yardage and spin – Ping sets typically do a better job in this regard. The feel, at impact, is not as buttery as Mizunos – it feels similar to Callaway X-Tour set.
In terms of aesthetics, this is one of the best looking clubs I’ve seen. It has clean, beautiful lines.
Overall, this is a set, at this price point, that is well-worthy of a purchase consideration.
